This site is a witch hunt against smokers because Norway is thinking about making a law that you can’t smoke in your own home. That would be one of the stupidest laws I have ever heard of before. If people want to smoke and ruin their lungs let them. But if every person would quit smoking pollution levels might go down a little bit. I think they should make a law that you can’t advertise smoking on televisions and in magazines. This one is extremely weird, but unique witch hunt because you wouldn’t think that people who smoke would be witch hunted.

Wow this is a really weird witch hunt. I totally agree with what you said Rachel, if they want to ruin their lungs let them. I can see banning smoking in public places like restaraunts but in your own homes, come on, that's a bit ridiculous.
I also agree this is a weird witch hunt. Banning smoking in homes is just seems dumb and ridiculous...how would you even enforce that? Let them ruin their health if they want to...I can understand banning it in public places like Kate said, but banning it in homes is crazy.

If people are retarded enough to ruin their lungs, let them. It's a choice they make. Banning it isn't going to make matters any better. I don't think it'd help polltion levels go down, but it would help make it clearer. Plus,there would be less cases of ephaseema (haha I so butchered that, but that's okay) and lung cancer, and there would be less smelly people =D (yeah madre)

This is a unique witch hunt, but it is very true! I agree that outlawing smoking in their own homes would be outragous and stupid. It is their bodies, and they can ruin them if they want! (although it is quite dumb of them to smoke in the first place) Even if this law was passed, I bet some people would smoke in their homes anyway, no matter what the law said.
I see why they're trying to ban it, especially for the health of the nation and children in smoking families. It would be hard to enforce, possibly easier to make tobacco illegal. I think it is a dumb law that is harder to enforce than anything, but don't really see it as a witch hunt.
I don't really know how I sit on this one, but I'm leaning more towards the witch hunt side. How would you enforce this? You can't patrol and ruin the privacy of your own home. This is interesting and I want to know if the law will pass.

If they want to smoke let them just as they aren't around me. If they want to smoke in their our homes let and i can see them banning it in public places but banning it in their homes a little out of hand.
Ok, I'm sure you've heard this from like nine other people, but smokers is an unusual group to witch hunt. And making it illegal will just make people want to do it more, when drinking was illegal in the United Sates, more people drank than now, that it is legal.
I agree that his is a witch hunt. Smoking is bad, but if people have to do it, than they should. I'm not saying smoking is a good thing around, but I do wish that some places would step up and think of the non-smokers of the area.

Yes, this is a witch hunt. People should have the right to smoke if they want to. If they want to ruin their health, let them. We shouldn't make it a law that they can't smoke in their own homes.
this is a weird form of a witch hunt but i agree...they can do whatever they want eventough it may be hurting them. I also can see to ban smoking in some places so its not hurting others.

This is a witch hunt that I support. I have seen to many people regret ever starting smoking. Also I know so many sad stories. But there is an extent to how far I will go. I will not cause physical harm but mental yes. If it was it takes to make them quit i will do it.
This is a great blog and a great witch hunt and I think that if people stopped smoking pollution would go down. great idea rachel.
