Terrorism is a big issue today in America and around the world. These two sites deal with people, who get arrested, because their race and people expect them to have ties to terrorist plots. One person is arrested because he attended a terror-training camp. The other people are suspected on visa violations.

This is a good example of a witch hunt. I know the gov't. wants to take extra precautions but it might be getting a little bit out of hand.
Again, I agree with Kate. It's good to be safe and take precautions, especially after 9/11, but there is a fine line here...and it may be getting crossed in some cases.
I agree that this is a great example of a witch hunt. I also agree that they are taking it a little overboard here in persecuting these people just because they assume that they are tied to terrorist plots.

Terrorism is a big crisis, I agree. As Kate said, i see why the gov't does this, but it's just horrible! They're taking it way out of proportion. but I think I would be lying if I said that I wouldn't be a bit nervous if I saw some Islamic guy at an airport. I think anybody would be in this day of age. A great example of a witchhunt Rach!
The government walks a fine line between national protection & impeading on personal rights on this one, at least in my opinion. I do beleive that it was at least somewhat intentional to release it to the press, and its a great example of a witch hunt.
Okay, so I agree that this is a witch hunt. But I also think that the government may be crossing the line. Just because someone is dark complected, doesn't mean that they are going to take over the plane, or whatever. I guess we just have to be careful on this one.
I think the government crosses the line when they arrest people because of their race and if they thought that they were involved with terrorist plots. But I guess they are taking precautions for our safety and the country’s safety. Thanks for your comments.
I don't think is a witch hunt. We wouldn't be still in the war if George W. Bush wasn't president. All he is doing is trying to finish what his dad started. I am ready for this war to be over with and maybe we should just bomb like over in Japan.
Once again, ethnic background comes into play dealing with witch hunts. I don't think that it's right for people to pick out a race and hurt them for it. It happens a lot and people should do things peacefully to resolve it.

Terrorism should be hunted but to an extent. The real terrorist should be imprisioned but then peoples ethinic background makes them a suspect. Thus innocent people are lynched.
It really is more of ghost hunt I believe that there is not one single trait that can make you a terrorist. It's a fight against invisible people.
